Founded in 1996 as a concrete and precast plant, the company Sudholt-Wasemann GmbH decided to break new ground after more than 10 years in the building industry, with the aim to set new standards in the field of concrete. After a careful study and analysis of market trends, technologies and competitors, Sudholt-Wasemann GmbH introduced Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), a cement bound high-tech concrete on a purely mineral basis, to a market almost untapped at that time: the mechanical engineering industry.
After the first successful steps, further pioneers in this field became strong partners, and in 2010, the corner stone for today’s core competence of Sudholt-Wasemann GmbH was laid: the first designed and manufactured machine frame made of UHPC for wood working machines by Homag Group AG. To meet the new challenges after the successful market introduction it was necessary to move to bigger and more modern production facilities in 2009. Both our production halls and work force are continuously expanding. Today, manufacture at Sudholt-Wasemann GmbH meets the highest technological standards. The company employs more than 30 skilled workers and operates on premises covering 5,000 square meters. A metalworking division equipped with state-of-the-art CNC technology, an individual mould construction, a painting shop as well as measuring technology are milestones of a steady process of development, characterized by continuous investment and progress.
In 2012, Sudholt-Wasemann GmbH received the ZIM-Innovation Award from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Technology, confirming the successful new orientation of the company. Since 2009, Sudholt-Wasemann GmbH and its partners regularly take part in important industry exhibitions and fairs, e.g. the EMO (the global leading metalworking trade fair).
